Pick a Cabin: Queen Mary 2 Deck Plan Decoder

by  Kristen Boatright | Dec 15, 2016

Cruisers wanting to sail on a traditional — and quintessentially British — ship with modern flair  should look no further than Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2.

The classically styled 2,620-passenger ocean liner, which was originally built in 2004, underwent an extensive refit in 2016. During the renovation, the ship's Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites and restaurants were redesigned and refurbished. The line also added 30 additional staterooms in the Britannia Club category, as well as The Verandah, a new French specialty restaurant, and 12 additional spaces in its onboard kennel, a plus for pet lovers (it’s the only passenger ship to carry pets). Prices start at $1,099 per person for a standard inside stateroom on a seven-night transatlantic crossing, the ship’s most popular and well-known itinerary.
