What was once an office building on the corner of Poydras and South Peters Street now features some of the city’s largest guest rooms — and extraordinary service.

What You Need to Know

The Look

It's All in the Details

The Loews is quintessential New Orleans: warm and elegant. It weaves a mix of Creole, West Indian, and Colonial French cultures into the interior design elements, along with a New Orleans-inspired collage behind the front desk. The guest rooms are awash in blues, grays, and splashes of bright color. You get a true sense of place with beautiful photography, which depicts the city’s beloved architecture.

The Vibe

You’ll feel at home whether you’re hanging out in the lobby, relaxing with a cocktail at Bar Peters, or dining at the on-site restaurant, Poydras & Peters, which pays homage to the cultural diversity and history of the Poydras Market. The market occupied the land in the center of Poydras Street from the 1830s to1930s.
