From the outside, Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador looks like any other towering gray beach hotel in Waikiki. But on the inside, it’s warm and welcoming. The lobby is filled with artwork depicting the Hawaiian islands and their distinct culture, plus plenty of comfortable seats for you to relax in, while the outdoor courtyard is a nice spot for a cocktail before heading out for the evening.
Each of the 368 guest rooms is cheerful and inviting, with a pinky-peach wallpaper behind the beds that pops against the pale slatted wood backboards. Most of the rooms feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open out to a spacious lanai where you can enjoy the view of the neighborhood or the beach.

Romer Waikiki embodies the laid-back atmosphere and spirit of aloha that Hawaii is known for. The hotel is bright and colorful, especially the pool deck with its striped cabanas and funky umbrellas.
