The main restaurant, Perrine, serves seasonally inspired dishes in an elegant setting (think classic French-American cuisine and aromatically spiced Indian specialties). (Meanwhile, Two E Bar and Lounge offers live jazz music evenings, bespoke cocktails and delicious bites in a relaxed yet chic ambiance.

The iconic Rotunda was redesigned in 2016 and features Old World-inspired murals, a dazzling chandelier, a beautiful ceiling painted to mimic a clear-blue sky, marble stairs, stone walls, and romantic lighting to give the space an intimate vibe.

Here, it's all about the (unparalleled level of) service. As soon as we walked in, the doorman greeted us outside, opened our car door, and immediately whisked our luggage away as he walked us to the reception desk. From there, we were immediately offered water bottles, a cold towel, and chocolate. As we entered the lobby, we noticed that the demographic definitely skewed older (think smartly dressed women and jacket-wearing men in their late-50s and 60s).

If you're looking to splurge, consider reserving the property's signature Park Suite. Located on the 28th floor, this 1,100-square-foot suite features an incredible view of Central Park and is complete with an en-suite bath and deep soaking tub; a sprawling sitting and dining area; a pantry kitchen; and a fireplace.

All bath amenities are by the luxury fashion house, Etro. From the bath salts to the shampoo to the moisturizing body milk, the products definitely added a luxurious touch. Also, each guest room is equipped with a shower and a bathtub: a rarity in NYC.
