Models from the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, which hit stands today, have already packed up their bikinis and left the beach, but fans can still follow in their smoking hot footsteps by booking a room at the Philippines’ Shangri-La Boracay Resort & Spa – one of nine locations featured in the magazine’s storied special issue.
The upscale property hosted the illustrious beauties during their shoot on the northern part of Boracay, an island paradise of sugar-white sands and azure waters that’s about a 45-minute flight away from Manila. Naturally, the resort is just as jaw-dropping as the photo subjects: Located in a nature reserve, the Shangri-La claims 380 yards of beachfront, two private beaches, as well as 219 rooms, including suites, villas, and even two-level treehouses overlooking the Philippine sea.
Five models – including Russian model Irina Shayk, star of this year’s cover image – posed on location in Boracay. The rest of the sirens spent time shooting in Anguilla; Peter Island, the British Virgin Islands; Laguna Beach, CA; Banff, Canada; Turtle Island, Fiji; Maui; New York City; and Singapore.
