What You Need to Know
The Look of the Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA
The Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA is housed in a contemporary high-rise building. After making your way through the greenery-accented porte cochère, the modern aesthetic continues inside the lobby, which boasts a sleek neutral color palette, pops of greenery, wooden accents, and fun plaid flooring (plus a matching accent wall). There are also lots of comfy seating options, including leather couches and plush green-hued barrel chairs. The exclusive lobby-level Regency Club is equally chic with its stunning marble fireplace and dark wooden furnishings.
The 686 rooms and suites are also sophisticated with large windows (perfect for admiring the surrounding skyline), wooden floors and plaid-patterned carpet, light grey tufted headboards, comfy white bedding, and dark furnishing for a bit of edge. You’ll also find blackout curtains and multiple charging ports to power your devices. The black-and-white bathrooms are stylish, too.
The Vibe at the Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA
The property’s central location attracts business and leisure travelers. When they’re not attending meetings or exploring the city, guests can often be found dining at the on-site French brasserie, people-watching in the lobby, or sipping on fresh coffee from the grab-and-go marketplace.
Who Will Love the Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA
Both business and leisure travelers will love the hotel and its central location.
Who Might Not Love the Hyatt Regency Downtown SOMA
Travelers looking for a more boutique hotel experience may opt to stay somewhere smaller with a more intimate vibe. Wellness enthusiasts should also seek alternate accommodations as there is no on-site spa.
