The hotel’s unassuming exterior leads to a more contemporary interior with a strong dose of elegance, especially in the inviting lobby, whose cozy nooks have an earthy palette and plush seating and whose fireplaces are surrounded by Arabascato marble. Just as stylish, the Cocktail Bar has four different rooms, one for each season (the winter lounge features a roaring fireplace and mohair seating; the summer terrace, open year-round, has lush greenery and marble flooring). Antique mirrors and red and orange upholstery gussy up the all-day 108 Brasserie, which also offers a lively, foliage-fringed terrace. 

Standard rooms are stylish in their simplicity, their neutral color palette punctured by pink velvet chairs, throw pillows, and bedspreads. Marble bathrooms have heated floors for an extra-luxe touch. Deluxe rooms feature higher ceilings, larger windows, and slightly more adornment (bronze accents, patterned wallpaper); studio suites are distinguished by floor-to-ceiling windows, larger bathrooms, and additional seating. The standout accommodations are the Signature Suites, contemporary oases whose terraces have full-size living areas with sofas, dining tables, in-wall fireplaces and TVs, and retractable roofs and blinds — handy given London’s changeable weather.
