Editor's note: This ship is no longer sailing in the Carnival fleet.
The 2,052-passenger Carnival Imagination may be one of Carnival Cruise Line’s oldest ships, but the smaller size makes it feel manageable and it has been updated with all of the line's newest amenities. This being an older ship, it only has a few staterooms with balconies, but cabins are well-sized inside and include equally ample bathrooms.
What We Love
Great Entertainment: From Hasbro, The Game Show to the line’s Playlist Productions, this ship has lots of high-energy shows on board. The Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez is not to be missed.
Seaday Brunch: Particularly when poolside eateries are swamped with sunbathers, the secluded dining room is quite appealing for a quiet escape. You'll find a wide selection of brunch staples, including huevos rancheros and bloody marys.
Best Known For
Serenity Adults-Only Retreat: You can escape all of the children at this isolated area at the back of the ship reserved for the 21-plus set. There are two hot tubs, hammocks, and double loungers for soaking up the sun, as well as shaded areas to escape the heat.
Camp Ocean and Seuss at Sea: These areas are newly refreshed, and kids can learn about marine life through songs and games and meet their favorite Dr. Seuss characters.
