Guaranteed Ocean Views

Every Seabourn suite offers ocean views, and the ones on Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation feature private balconies, too. The scenery is definitely a draw, but so is the service, which starts with a welcome glass of champagne and continues with personal stewards who manage everything from laundry to your in-room ice and bar setup.

Michelin-Worthy Dining

The starred chef behind culinary institutions like Per Se and The French Laundry brings a taste of his award-winning fare to the dining room at The Grill, where the focus is heavy on classic Americana cuisine from the '50s and '60s (tableside Caesar salad and lobster thermidor, anyone?) While the selection of Old World wines pair beautifully with the steakhouse fare, don’t discount the cocktails: Here, you’ll want to extend your aperitif into dinner.

Each port of call serves as inspiration for the handcrafted cocktails designed by Brian Van Flandern, who was named America's Top Mixologist by Food Network. Flandern looked to local markets when dreaming up the fresh produce- and botanical-infused cocktail menu — one of the many perks of having an onboard open bar.

Deep-Sea Subs

No need to be scuba-certified to explore deep below the sea’s surface: Instead, hop into these brand-new environmentally friendly, and battery-powered submarines. Each vessel carries six guests, dipping down nearly 1,000 feet to explore shipwrecks and coral reefs — all while maintaining an extraordinarily high level of luxury (think: plush leather seats, a Bluetooth stereo system, air-conditioning, and a champagne chiller).

Caviar in the Surf

Instead of stuffy white tablecloths, Thomas Keller-founded Regiis Ova caviar and champagne are served in a more casual fashion: from atop a surfboard bar floating on the sea. Think of it as an impromptu swim-up bar, where you can alternate between sips of bubbly in the water and barbecue back onshore.

Yoga is a given on most ships these days, but Seabourn has taken a 360-degree approach to wellness with a newly launched program in collaboration with integrative medicine pioneer Dr. Andrew Weil. In addition to seminars revolving around spontaneous happiness and healing, each ship features its own Mindful Living Coach, a certified yoga and meditation practitioner who can help curate a personalized onboard retreat.
