This incredible bathroom is one-of-a-kind. Yes, there are luxe touches like an oversize tub and a flat-screen TV. But those are completely secondary to the main focal point: a glass shower that cantilevers over the edge of the ship for dramatic ocean views.

On: Seven Seas Explorer

This Regent Seven Seas ship launched in July 2016 as the "most luxurious ship in the world," so it's no surprise that the ship's sprawling Regent Suite has one of the most luxurious bathrooms at sea. The master bedroom's en suite is basically a spa in and of itself, with heated lounge chairs, two saunas, two hot tubs (one indoors, one outdoors), and a separate treatment area.

On: Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Star

These three-bedroom suites are lined with floor-to-ceiling windows, and while there are prime views throughout, the master bathroom gets some of the most striking. The space is located at the corner, giving the room a curve that widens the expanse of ocean outside the window. You can take in that vista from the jetted soaker tub or the dual sinks.

The bathroom in this stylish cabin offers Ralph Lauren designs, with all the details you would find in a luxe home: double vanity, wall-mounted TV, large round jetted tub, and rain shower. But it's the sexy details — mahogany, nickel, and marble finishes — that set it apart.

You'll never want to leave the master bathroom in these suites; it's as large as many standard cabins. The layout is completely open, and the shower (with side-by-side shower heads) and the large whirlpool tub are situated against the windows for prime ocean views. Just imagine yourself soaking in the tub with a glass of wine as the ship sails out of port.

There are a lot of curves in these top suites from luxury line Seabourn. The shower has a rounded wall of glass while the circular tub has jets to up the relaxation factor. The bathroom is also stocked with pricey Molton Brown products, including bath oils.

The spacious and airy bathroom in this suite is basically an extension of the balcony. Right off the bedroom you'll find the main section with double sinks and a shower with a steam sauna. The room then opens up to a glassed-in space with a round whirlpool tub, a large daybed, and spectacular ocean views.

On: Viking Sea and Viking Star

There are a lot of Scandinavian touches on this ocean line, from the design to the food to the traditional treatments in the Nordic Spa. But book the Owner's Suite and you won't even have to leave your stateroom to relax in a sauna — the centerpiece of Scandinavian wellness. There is one right in the master bathroom, with a window looking out over the ocean. 

On: Crystal Esprit

You don't have to book the top suite on Crystal Esprit to have a stunning bathroom. All of the stateroom bathrooms on the ship have marble double sinks, stone floors, and TVs in mirror, plus are stocked with Etro robes, slippers, and toiletries. There is a reason to upgrade to the Owner's Suite, though — that one has a full tub as well.

On: Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper

If being surrounded by marble is your ideal design aesthetic, then the suites on these two Silversea ships will deliver. There are many choices for upper-level suites on the luxury vessels, and no matter which one you choose you'll have double sinks, a full tub as well as a separate shower, and Bulgari products on the vanity.
