Located right on the beach and a short walk from the action of Duval Street, this landmark hotel (built in the 1920s) joined the Waldorf Astoria Collection in early 2009. A $43 million dollar renovation completed just before the merge helped maintain the hotel's original, iconic architecture, but brought upgrades like plasma TVs and iHome docking stations to the 311 rooms and suites.
