This intimate 16-room resort has been making headlines with its New York-meets-Florida flair - modern and chic, you won't find the seashells and palm trees common to other mom-and-pop hotels around here. With plenty of quiet corners for relaxation, Zen gardens, inviting hammocks, complimentary yoga, and in-suite massages, rest and rejuvenation is at Casa Morada's core. Each of the 16 suites feature Mexican antiques, modern accents, and private outdoor space. Breakfast, lunch, and poolside beverages are available (for an additional cost) and are served on the waterside terrace. Be on the lookout for an occasional surprise visitor - a friendly manatee has been known to swim right into the resort's inlet.
