Palm Beach Cities and Municipalities

Palm Beach

The Atlantic Coast barrier island where the Polo-clad elite savor winter in sun-drenched style has a historic pedigree, Rodeo Drive-caliber shopping, and breezy beaches. At its southernmost tip sits the affluent coastal township of Manalapan.

West Palm Beach

The cool, urban yin to Palm Beach's upper crust, seaside yang, West Palm is home to the Clematis Street Historic District, Antique Row, and plenty of affordable attractions. JFK's restored bomb shelter can be found on nearby Peanut Island in Riviera Beach.

Delray Beach

A stylish spin on an old-school Florida beach town, with a charming downtown main street that's full of boutiques, outdoor cafes, and galleries. It's the site of many arts-minded festivals and the Delray Beach Tennis Center, a pro-circuit tourney stop.

Lake Worth/Lantana

Drive from Palm Beach to Lake Worth and the change is evident: real folks live here. Come for mom and pop restaurants, antique shops, and the annual Street Painting Festival in February. Coastal Lantana still shows its fishing-village roots.

Boynton Beach

Fishermen love this seaside town, where it's possible to walk more than 100 yards off shore to cast a line courtesy of the breakwater adjoining Boynton Beach's inlet.

Palm Beach Gardens/Singer Island

Palm Beach Gardens is home to the PGA and the annual Honda Classic pro golf tournament; the pedestrian-friendly downtown is sprinkled with public art projects. Singer Island, founded by sewing-machine heir Paris Singer, attracts avid kayakers.
