Need an excuse to book a trip to New York City this winter? Hotel Week NYC just might fit the bill. For stays between January 6 and 15, 2017, more than a dozen hotels are offering rates of $100 or $200 per night.
Many of the participating properties normally charge at least $500 per night during busier weeks, meaning you can save up to 80 percent on accommodations in some of the city's most sought-after locations.
For $100 per night, stay at The Wolcott Hotel in Midtown hotel; Mark Twain, Edith Wharton, and Buddy Holly were among its famous guests. Also priced at $100 is The Cosmopolitan - Tribeca, another historic property that's seen the likes of politicians and city judges. You might also consider staying at the quaint Pod 39 and 51 outposts, both for a hundred bucks.
Offering $200 rates under the promotion is the Gansevoort Meatpacking, located in one of the city's trendiest neighborhoods. The promotion isn't just limited to Manhattan properties, either; in Brooklyn, find the McCarren Hotel and Pool, which lists its rooms for $200. Overlooking its namesake park, The McCarren has 360-degree views from its rooftop bar.
Other hotels we love from the $200 tier include the chic Refinery Hotel in the Fashion District, the bookworm’s Midtown oasis at The Library Hotel, or the The James New York in SoHo.
