This deal has expired, but be sure to check out our Top 25 deals of the week for savings on trips to destinations around the globe.

The likes of Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, and Katherine Hepburn all bunked at Vancouver’s Hotel Georgia in its heyday, but you need not be a big shot to afford a room here now. Follow in their glamorous footsteps July 15 through August 15, when the property reopens as the Rosewood Hotel Georgia – and slashes room rates to just $192.70, in honor of its 1927 grand opening. The entire property evokes the Roaring ’20s, including the restored grand staircase rising from the lobby; Prohibition, a swank jazz bar; and 1927 Lobby Lounge, a sleek cocktail spot.

THE VALUE: In addition to the $192.70 rate, select rooms and suites are discounted by 50 percent; after opening month, room rates jump to about $390/night.

THE DETAILS: Call 888-ROSEWOOD to book; ask for the opening rates.

THE CATCH: This is the first month the rebranded property is open, so anticipate some hiccups in service and functionality.
