One of our favorite Riviera Maya resorts just got even better. Azul Beach Hotel – featured in our Top 10 All-Inclusive Beach Resorts – has recently finished up $21 million in expansions and renovations that encompassed two new restaurants, a new 150-seat theater for live music and shows, enlarged suites, a new wedding venue, and a kids club partnership with Fisher-Price.

The 60-room property already boasted four restaurants to choose from as part of its Gourmet Inclusive packages, but now there are two more dinner-only spots on the menu. Roma serves up pizza and other Northern Italian fare, while bistro-style Latino focuses on Tex-Mex flavors.

Those on the hunt for the ideal destination wedding locale should take note of Azul Beach’s Sky Wedding venue, a private rooftop terrace that accommodates up to 60 guests.

For those traveling with the little ones in tow, the new Azulitos Kid’s Club features a Fisher-Price toy lending library and play sessions, as well as a Lego corner, doll corner, nap room, video games, and a special fitness area for older kids.

All-inclusive rates at the hotel start at $263 per person, per night.
