The Carlyle Inn

Riding high from a recent renovation, infusing $1 million into its 32 rooms and suites, The Carlyle Inn arrives on the Beverly Hills scene as one of Pacifica Hotels’ newest additions to its 28-hotel collection. With its unassuming façade, the hotel reveals itself on the second floor with open terrace motel-style rooms and a striking black-and-white striped motif. Delivering remarkable value as a boutique hotel where most luxury comes at a premium, here’s what we loved about our stay in The Carlyle Inn.

What’s Hot: In an area of Los Angeles that's synonymous with glamour and style, The Carlyle Inn fits in amongst its neighbors. We were most impressed by the fine design touches throughout the rooms, featuring unique embellishments that felt authentic and far from cookie-cutter. Stunning furniture pieces including trunk-style nightstands, a grand dresser, and marble countertops in the bathroom exhibit a touch of luxury with a black, white, and hunter green theme. Adding to the list of fine amenities are Molton Brown bath amenities that you'll want to bring home.

Best Feature: One of the comfiest beds we’ve ever experienced at a hotel, The Carlyle Inn spared no expense in high-quality mattresses and bedding, providing a night’s sleep you won’t want to end. Specialty coffee comes standard in each room with Keurig machines on-hand for your morning brew.

The Rooms: With playful throw pillows and antique lamps, the 32 rooms feature three options: deluxe king, deluxe two-queen, and an executive size, where the rooms have a desk and a seating area.

The Food: Morning breakfast goes a step beyond the typical continental fare with an on-site chef preparing breakfast staples such as scrambled eggs and pancakes. An assortment of fruit and pastries fill out the hearty complimentary breakfast offer.

Who Will Love It: Styled for the younger set, couples looking to visit L.A. on an economical budget, while still enjoying the fringe benefits of a luxury inn will dig at a stay at The Carlyle Inn.

Who Might Not: Families with children under 15 might find the hotel too sophisticated and not as family-friendly as some other local properties.

Nearby: With a close proximity to many of LA’s tourist destinations and parking available for your car -- a necessity for any Los Angeles vacation -- you’re minutes away from hotspots like The Grove, an outdoor shopping plaza, Rodeo Drive, and the La Brea Tar Pits.

Rates & Packages: Rates start as low as $191 per night.
