Across the four hotels, the lowest rates that we found are $162-$186, for stays right before or after Thanksgiving (November 26 this year) and Christmas -- a time that's generally slow for hotels in the city, with many home with family. For comparison, rates at these hotels start from $339-$459 on weekends this October.

70 Park Avenue: In Midtown, the property boasts a prime location for all that glorious shopping along Fifth Avenue. Eventi: This hotel calls the artsy, trendy neighborhood of Chelsea home -- and recently opened a beautiful new Portuguese restaurant alongside an Italian-American one. The property is also right next to a 15,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor plaza that plays host to art installations and events year-round, with a calm reflecting pool that provides reprieve from the bustling streets, too. For November stays, you can snag the lowest rate of $162 per night for a king room between the 22nd and the 24th. The next best price is $204, available November 29 and December 13 and 21-23.
Ink48: Want to wake up to amazing views of the Hudson River? Check into Ink48. This hotel’s 222 guest rooms feature the lofty ceilings of the building’s original architecture, and, for hungry visitors, the chefs at its PRINT Restaurant incorporate ingredients grown in the region. We found the lowest promotional rate of $162 per night available in king rooms November 22-24 and 29, and December 20-25.
The Muse: A holiday trip to New York City is incomplete without a visit to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Luckily, guests of The Muse are just four blocks away from the holiday display -- as well as from Radio City Music Hall, known for their "Christmas Spectacular" performances.
