There’s the Florida Panhandle you think you know -- the Spring Breaker in Panama City Beach scene -- and then there’s the sophisticated, hip foodie towns. This includes Rosemary Beach, an eco-friendly master development community with a brand-new boutique hotel, boasting some attractive high season sales to boot.
The Pearl, a 55-room boutique property that opened last year, is offering rates that come out to as low as $169.50 per night this winter thanks to a Buy One Night, Get One Night Free promo, valid through February 12. We tested out the deal and found some availability at this starting rate for standard rooms between January 11-15 and 19-30 -- with a few price hikes to $179.50 on the weekends of January 23 and January 30 and to $214.50 the weekend of January 10. Through February 12, it looks like most bookable rates start from $179.50 also.
While you’ll also be charged a $40 daily resort fee not included in these rates, we were still pleasantly surprised that these are the lowest that we could find online by a good $100. That’s a significant difference considering it’s currently Florida’s high season. Note: The deal is not valid on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend (January 16-19 this year).
What else can you look forward to at these prices? Each room has an iPad that allows visitors to access various guest services, a luxurious soaking tub or rainforest shower, and free WiFi. When you’re not lounging at the outdoor pool, you can request snazzy black-and-white chairs and umbrellas at the beach, also complimentary.
