Calling all college football fans: Have you ever wanted to sleep in the iconic Goodyear Blimp? Now’s your chance. In celebration of the 150th anniversary of college football, Goodyear listed its world-famous blimp on Airbnb. Beginning October 15, 2019, fans can request an overnight stay in the blimp, which will be parked in Mogadore, Ohio.
The only caveat? There are just three dates to choose from: October 22, 23, and 24. After that, the blimp will head to Ann Arbor to capture aerial footage of University of Michigan’s big rivalry game against Notre Dame on October 26.
The stay is hosted by Jerry Hissem, Goodyear’s Chief Pilot, and will cost $150 per night, in honor of the milestone anniversary (taxes and fees not included). The blimp holds up to two guests and has one bedroom and one bathroom.
Your stay includes access to the hangar, which is the size of 2.6 football fields and features its own football lounge. Outside, take in waterfront sunset views as you play cornhole, fire up the grill, and end the night roasting marshmallows under the fire pit. You’ll also receive tickets to the October 26 football game (along with Michigan gear), so you, too, can take in all the action. While the blimp only sleeps two guests, you are allowed to host up to four friends during the day.
Later this year, the blimp will become an honorary member of the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta — making it the first (and only) non-player or coach to be inducted. The blimp has provided aerial coverage of over 2,000 football games since 1955.
