Celebrity chef Guy Fieri's casual Guy's Burger Joints were such a hit for Carnival Cruise Line that the line has now added a separate BBQ restaurant from the Food Network star. Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse is now open on Carnival Magic.

The open-air restaurant has a wood smoker (which was added during the ship's recent dry dock) to add authenticity to the menu. Expect traditional BBQ favorites like grilled chicken, Andouille sausage, pulled pork, and thinly sliced, slow-cooked beef. Sides include mac n cheese, potato salad, molasses baked beans, and collard greens. Fieri's line of sauces are also on offer, ranging from the sweet Brown Sugar sauce to the spicy Siracha BBQ. The restaurant is open on sea days from noon to 2:30, and there is no additional charge.

Carnival Magic also gained two new poolside bars (RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar) plus Mexican restaurant BlueIguana Cantina and Pizzeria de Capitano. The ship currently cruises out Galveston, Texas, but will reposition to Port Canaveral, Florida, in late April. Itineraries will include both Eastern and Western Caribbean routes.
