Kimpton is one of the most pet-friendly hotel brands by far, with each of their properties touting a robust list of pet-friendly perks that are typically tailored to the individual hotel, to its region, or to their very own four-legged pet concierge. All of their 50-plus boutique hotels nationwide welcome furry friends at no additional charge (nor are there restrictions on pet size or weight) and pamper pet guests with complimentary welcome treats, in-room bowls, beds, toys, and an endless supply of pooper-scooper bags.

What's more, thanks to their fun "Guppy Love" program, most Kimpton hotels offer the company of a complimentary fish friend to guests who might be missing their pets at home (or who are just eager for some local companionship). In addition to Kimpton’s signature pet amenities, every hotel celebrates pet patrons in their own unique ways – read on for some of our favorite offerings of the pampering and spa-centric varieties.

Hotel Burnham in Chicago is home to Dillon (pictured above), an irresistibly adorable 4-year-old bulldog that welcomes fellow furry friends and helps dole out pet-care packages to arriving pooches. Expect amenities like a pet bed made of hypoallergenic fleece for use during your stay (complete with a nightly turndown), and if your pooch is fashion forward, arrangements can be made for a nearby boutique pet-supply retailer to deliver top-of-the-line items to your room to ensure that your pet steps out in style.

Set in a National Historic Landmark building, the Burnham exudes old-world elegance, updated with modern amenities and a contemporary sensibility. You and your pooch will enjoy luxe accommodations in one of the 122 stylish units, not to mention the architectural grandeur illustrated throughout the property with its vivid mosaic floors, red-marble walls, and filigreed elevator grills, all located right in the heart of Chicago's famous Loop. The affable lab plays perfect pet host to this house of whimsy, complete with a pet psychic that visits the property once monthly during the evening wine hour, when guests are invited to enjoy complimentary vino at the wine bar while their pets receive a reading. A few of the additional treats include a $20 gift certificate for a local pet boutique; a trail-mix kit for humans and pets alike; an urban map of pet-friendly breweries and restaurants in the Portland area; and an Oregon microbrew for you and doggy beer for your pooch.
