There’s nothing worse than arriving at your hotel, opening your bag, and finding that your shampoo bottle has exploded, unless, of course, your prized possession was already confiscated by airport security because it was just over the 3.4-ounce regulation size. Suite Arrival, a new and unique concierge service, provides a solution to this toiletry-travel burden by delivering travel-sized products directly to your hotel room. With options ranging from luxury brands like Oscar Blandi and value brands like Garnier Fructis, customers traveling to any U.S. city (international service is set to start this year), for any purpose, are guaranteed to find products that suit them.
It’s not just shampoo. Suite Arrival offers a wide variety of products ranging from oral care to first aid to cosmetics and other lady products; it even has an assortment of snacks such as dried apple rings and seasoned almonds. Buy products a la carte or convenient “his,” “hers,” and “organic” kits which bundle all the items you’ll need together.
It’s reasonably priced. This service, which seems too good to be true – or at least too good to be cheap – is actually very affordable. A travel-sized tube of Colgate toothpaste is only $2 and a snack-sized bag of cashews is $1.19 which is guaranteed to be at least a quarter of the price of a snack from your hotel’s minibar. Even shipping costs are manageable: The national flat-rate shipping fee is $5.99 and if your purchase is over $50, shipping is free. Orders should be placed at least 48 hours prior to intended arrival to ensure delivery by check-in.
It’s luxurious and convenient. “Saving time at home, packing less and not dealing with the ‘hotel surprise’ is what Suite Arrival is all about,” says Michael Lewis, the founder of Suite Arrival. “It's a luxury and people should think of us as their own personal concierge service.” Launched earlier this year, Suite Arrival has already received positive feedback from its customers. The company additionally plans to expand its business internationally, delivering products to hotels world-wide.
