Border Reopenings & Cruise COVID Updates

After nearly two years, Australia has officially reopened its borders to vaccinated travelers. Meanwhile, France will no longer require travelers to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country. (Instead, you just need to show proof of vaccination.) Vietnam is also said to welcome back tourists around mid-March (though proof of vaccination is required).

Several large cruise lines have also loosened restrictions on mask-wearing. Royal Caribbean will drop its indoor mask requirement starting 2/25, while Carnival Cruise Line will lift mask mandates on most onboard settings as of 3/1. Norwegian Cruise Line will also ditch the mask mandate on 3/1 (though it's worth noting that masks must still be worn indoors on Europe NCL sailings).
