While Cape Cod is home to an array of cozy inns, few are as stylish and sophisticated as AWOL, which can be found in the lively town of Provincetown. Read on for our full review of this extraordinary beachy-chic property, which is open seasonally from May to October.

What You Need to Know

The Look of AWOL

It's All in the Details

From the outside, AWOL looks like a typical New England cottage, with weathered wood paneling and dark shingles along the roof. The property also boasts plenty of outdoor common spaces (including a pool deck, three fire pits, several lounge areas, and a wet bar) for guests to mingle while enjoying the views of the moors.

Also, each of the coastal-inspired, sun-drenched rooms and suites has private outdoor areas for lounging (first-floor rooms have hammocks, while second-floor rooms have day beds and balconies.) The platform beds are outfitted with crisp white linens and cozy accent pillows, while the contemporary bathrooms are done up with sleek dark tiles. You can also expect a slew of boho-chic touches, including straw light fixtures and dune grass accents. Lastly, the gray concrete floors add an industrial-inspired edge.

The Vibe at AWOL

Since most accommodations sleep two guests, you can expect to see lots of couples. Guests can often be found lounging around the many common spaces, swimming or sipping on cocktails by the pool, or enjoying a leisurely bike ride into town or the beach.
