What You Need to Know

The Look of Walker Hotel Tribeca

It's All in the Details

Step inside and you'll find guests and locals working and mingling in the main lobby area, which is connected to buzzy Blue Bottle Coffee. The space itself is stunning, with tons of natural light, communal seating, a fireplace, and plenty of house plants. To check into your room, however, you’ll have to head down the stairs to the lower level. This cozy space with a bright-hued couch, a dimly lit reception counter, and chic tiled flooring. In addition to Blue Bottle, other drinking and dining options include the chic sub-cellar cocktail bar, Saint Tuesday; the cozy, Mediterranean-inspired Mostrador; and the seasonal rooftop bar, Happy Be.

Unsurprisingly, the accommodations here are equally design-forward, with white exposed brick, herringbone wood floors, and plush linens. The bathrooms — although small — are tres chic with marble accents; the rainfall showers are a bonus. Also, despite the rooms’ small size, there is ample storage space both under the bed (where you’ll find large wooden drawers) and behind it (the open shelving, which is decorated with books and knickknacks, is great for storing snacks, drinks, and other small essentials).

What's more, this hotel is a popular spot for locals to work and play, so it’s quite common to see them dispersed throughout the common areas, bars, and restaurant.
