Florida Keys Keys

Key Largo

Key Largo’s personality provides a comfortable middle ground to quirky Key West in the Lower Keys, and quiet Islamorada in the Upper Keys. As the closest of the three to Miami (just 60 miles away), it offers a nice mix of daytime activities, along with a bit of a nightlife scene. See our Key Largo Travel Guide

Key West

A Key West vacation may be more commercialized than it used to be, but this sunny island at the end of the Florida Keys is still one of the world's most recognized vacation destinations. Perhaps it's the laid-back, local sense of sun-drenched hedonism that tourists find most contagious. See our Key West Travel Guide

Spanning some 30 miles in the Upper Keys section of the Florida Keys, quiet, small-town Islamorada is primed for fishing and water sports, and home to numerous state parks and preserves. See our Islamorada Travel Guide

Located smack in the middle of the Florida Keys, this 10-mile stretch makes for a great jumping off point for vacationers heading south to Key West or north to Islamorada and Key Largo. It attracts visitors with family-friendly attractions, opportunities for snorkeling and fishing, and numerous dive sites.
