It’s all about timing. To avoid crowds and inflated prices, we recommend the period between high and low seasons when the weather is fine, places are still open and happy to welcome travelers, and you can explore a destination at your own pace. ShermansTravel experts call this magical time and space continuum the Sweet Spot.

When to go to Naples

Peak Season: December to April

Blissfully perfect sunny days plus mild nights equal tourists in droves and snowbirds flocking back to their winter vacation homes; expect hotel rates at their zenith and packed restaurants (make reservations).

Off Season: June to September

Coping with humidity and hurricane threats, particularly in late summer, is the tradeoff for low hotel rates, less crowded beaches, and access to some semi-private golf courses. The first few weeks of December are equally quiet, but offer gorgeous weather.

Sweet Spot: May; October to November

Shoulder season is quiet with low hotel rates, but without the humidity that plagues the height of summer. Despite falling at the end of hurricane season, October and November are usually balmy and storm-free.
