We’ve told you how you can see TV show tapings in NYC and Los Angeles. Now, a Manhattan hotel is making it even easier for you to be part of a live studio audience. If you stay at one of the two New York City Pod Hotels, you can attend a taping of the "Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" -- for free.

To attend, guests just have to sign up in the hotels' lobbies. As a fun extra perk, the concierge will take time to help NYC newbies navigate to the show’s studio via the subway. They’ll learn some locals-only tips about buying and swiping NYC’s famous MetroCard, and even some subway history.

Plus, we love the Pod Hotels’ emphasis on sleek design at a great price. Their bunk rooms make for one of the best budget lodging offerings in New York City, with rates starting at $125 per night for weeknight stays in April. Weekends go up to $135-$195. You won’t want to spend much time in your room, however, given that both the Pod 39 and Pod 51 offer some of the slickest-looking public spaces and restaurants in the city, including excellent rooftop bars at both properties.
